How to effectively influence others using power language

There’s nothing more powerful than an idea whose time has come. Has yours?

Do you ever find yourself at a loss for words, either as a result of not knowing how to say something or because you think that saying nothing is wiser?

During this sessions we will explore situations and see examples of “power phrases” you can use to shape your message in ways that will be heard. How to construct these and how to use them in different situations. By using some of these ideas you will gain insight on how to improve your communication and assertiveness. Actually using these insights will of course will require effort an diligence on your part, but for now it’s better to start somewhere than nowhere!

Influence is an inextricable part of our lives. How we use that influence is dependent on our values, and guiding principles. As with many things knowledge and insights can make us powerful yet only our wisdom can help us make positive use of it. That's certainly what we advocate here!

For those of you who know me and have attended some of the meetups you’ll know what I am native English (non-American) speaker. Many have found that it gives additional clarity and impact to the sessions I facilitate. I hope that you too will find this a bonus among other things.
